Could you help me identify this gas cylinder?

Question: The cylinder is blue and has a screw-on guard at the top to protect the valve. It is maybe 4 feet tall. It was laying next to a green cylinder of the same shape and size, if that helps. I'm just wondering what was in it before. Is it Acetylene, Oxygen, CO2, Argon? something else? I'm not sure if it was used for welding or cutting or what... It has been laying on its side for some time now--I've heard that this is bad for acetylene tanks. I transported it in my trunk and it is still laying on its side in the garage. Do you think it will explode in my garage? Any Ideas on the green tank that was next to it? Would that one be acetylene?

Answer: it's oxygen. it'll not explode. have moved them and/or left them on the sides for extended time many times. and know others as well. now if it is full charge and you bust the end off it you'll have a powerful 2/ 5 sec rocket.
