My lab freaks out when i apply advantage on her..why?

Question: I have a 98 lb yellow lab and she completely freaks when I put advantage on her...she gets upsets and really acts strange. Does this happen to your dog? Any way to make her more comfortable?

Answer: It definitely sounds like she has some kind of reaction to the drug in Advantage. To ensure that it is related to the Advantage try applying a little bit of water between her shoulder blades and see how she reacts. If she doesn't react to that how she reacts to the Advantage you'll know that it probably is something in the Advantage that's bothering her. Try another product such as Frontline or Revolution and see if she tolerates that better.
