Question: Is it possible to buy a new car alarm remote for my car's alarm system and some how configure it to match the frequencies of my original car alarm or whatever. Or do I have to purchase a new car alarm system entirely?
Answer: Go to where-ever installed the car alarm (mine wasn't done by the dealer, it was an auto place). They'll give you a new remote to go w/ the car alarm. It'll cost about $80 (that's what they charged me).
